The APC candidate for Ile-Oluji/Okeigbo/Odigbo Federal Constituency, Mr Festus Adefiranye, has appealed to aggrieved members to remain calm and respect party supremacy.

A statement made available to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Sunday in Abuja said that Adefiranye made the appeal on Saturday during a victory walk organised by party faithful across the federal constituency.

NAN reports that Adefiranye, an Okeigbo indegene and serving lawmaker, is seeking re-election to the House of Representatives in the 2027 general elections.

The lawmaker urged APC members to remain united, close ranks and work collectively toward securing victory for the party in 2027.

“Let us work together for continuity, greater service and people-oriented development. Unity remains our greatest strength as we prepare for the 2027 general elections,” he said.

Adefiranye described his relationship with fellow aspirants and party leaders as cordial, stressing that APC remained one united family in spite of differing political interests.

“The National Working Committee (NWC) has concluded the nomination process and produced credible candidates. Members should ignore actions capable of creating unnecessary divisions within our party.

“There is no need for agitation. The NWC has spoken and party supremacy must prevail. Contrary social media narratives should be disregarded by members,” he stated.

Adefiranye urged members to accept the party’s decisions, unite behind all the candidates and intensify mobilisation efforts to ensure victory for President Bola Tinubu and APC.

He thanked Tinubu, the APC National Working Committee and Interior Minister, Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo for ensuring a credible and transparent nomination process.

Also, the Ondo House of Assembly member representing Odigbo Constituency I, Mr Olatunji Ifabiyi, urged party members to remain united ahead of campaigns for electoral success.

“APC is one big family. Everyone must remain united and committed to ensuring the party’s victory at the polls,” Ifabiyi said.

He thanked the president and the APC leadership for successfully concluding the nomination exercise, urging supporters to sustain grassroots mobilisation before the elections.

Meanwhile, a former Ondo Commissioner, Mrs Yetunde Adeyanju, has described Adefiranye’s emergence as confirmation of his constituents’ confidence in his leadership, performance and commitment to quality representation.

Adeyanju urged Adefiranye to sustain effective representation, people-oriented programmes and regular constituency engagement, assuring him of continued support from the people of the federal constituency.

The party stakeholders reaffirmed Gov. Lucky Aiyedatiwa’s leadership of APC in Ondo State, while expressing confidence that the party would remain united ahead of the 2027 general elections.(NAN)(www.nannews.ng)
