President Bola Tinubu has congratulated the Etsu Nupe and Chairman of Niger State Council of Traditional Rulers, Alhaji Yahaya Abubakar, on his 73rd birthday and 22nd year on the throne.

‎The President’s congratulatory message is contained in a statement by Presidential Spokesperson, Mr Bayo Onanuga, on Friday in Abuja.

‎Tinubu lauded the traditional ruler’s unwavering patriotism and leadership, describing him as a pillar of traditional and national stability.

‎He highlighted Abubakar’s distinguished military service, where he retired as Brig;-Gen before ascending the throne as the 13th Etsu Nupe in 2003.

‎”Etsu Nupe has contributed immensely to nation-building. He has used his revered position to promote unity, harmony, religious tolerance, peace and reconciliation in the country.”

‎”His humility, courage and leadership experience have been brought to bear on his responsibilities as Chairman, Abuja Mosque and Chairman Coordinating Committee of the National Council of Traditional Rulers of Nigeria.”

‎Tinubu prayed for the traditional ruler’s continued health and wisdom, asking Allah to bless his reign with peace and prosperity.(NAN)(www.nannews.ng)
